Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the ResellerBooks application operated by Mazza Financial Systems LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). ResellerBooks is a bookkeeping and organization tool for resellers that helps you track sales, expenses, mileage, receipts, and related tax records.

2. Data Handling Model

ResellerBooks is designed to keep your data under your control. App data is stored on your device and may sync through your private iCloud / CloudKit container when available. We do not operate a general-purpose backend that stores your bookkeeping records, photos, or mileage logs.

When CloudKit is unavailable, the app may temporarily operate in local-only mode until iCloud access is restored. Local-only storage is an operational fallback, not a separate data product.

3. Information The App Processes

• Sales and expense data: Transaction details, cost records, and summaries you enter or import.
• Mileage data: Trip logs, odometer entries, and deduction calculations used by the mileage tools.
• Receipt and photo data: Images captured in-app or selected from your library for receipts, mileage verification, or related records.
• OCR text: On-device text extraction from photos to help populate fields and reduce manual entry.
• Settings and preferences: Non-sensitive preferences such as display choices, sync settings, and bookkeeping defaults.
• Subscription state: Pro entitlement and billing status handled through Apple’s StoreKit.
• Ad-related state: The app includes sponsored ad surfaces and related presentation logic in free or eligible builds.

4. Storage And Sync

Bookkeeping records, mileage logs, and receipt photos may be stored locally and synchronized with your private iCloud account when CloudKit is available. Some preference data may also sync through Apple services so your configuration stays consistent across devices.

You can export or delete your data through app settings. Depending on your Apple account and iCloud status, some data may remain in your private Apple storage until removed through the appropriate Apple or app controls.

5. OCR And Camera Use

The app uses device capabilities to capture photos of receipts and odometer readings and to process those images with on-device OCR. OCR results are used to help you enter information more quickly and are not a substitute for reviewing the underlying image or source document.

6. Third-Party Services

• Apple: Used for iCloud / CloudKit, StoreKit subscriptions, photos, camera access, and platform features.
• Google AdMob and related ad tooling: Used for sponsored ad surfaces and ad delivery where enabled. Ad behavior may vary by build, region, and entitlement state.
• External toolkit links: The Toolkit section may open third-party websites such as TurboTax, Vendoo, Amazon, or other merchant links. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not claim to collect continuous location data, sell personal information, or run analytics that track your bookkeeping activity across unrelated services. If third-party services are used, their own policies may apply to data they collect independently of ResellerBooks.

8. Data Export And Deletion

You may export your records through the app’s export tools. You may also delete app data from within ResellerBooks. If data is stored in your private iCloud container, Apple account settings and iCloud storage controls may also be relevant.

Terms And Conditions

1. Agreement To Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ResellerBooks, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with applicable laws and Apple platform rules. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Mazza Financial Systems LLC.

2. What The App Does

ResellerBooks provides bookkeeping and operational tools for resellers, including sales tracking, expense capture, mileage logging, OCR-assisted receipt entry, cloud sync, data export, and reporting. The app may also include a Toolkit section with outbound links to external third-party services.

3. Free And Pro Experience

• Free tier: Includes core bookkeeping functionality and may include sponsored or hidden ad surfaces as part of the app experience.
• ResellerBooks Pro: An auto-renewable subscription that unlocks Pro features, including the mileage tracker, trip tools, odometer verification workflows, and an ad-free experience.
• Trial eligibility: Some users may be eligible for a limited free trial as presented by Apple’s subscription flow.

4. Billing And Renewals

All purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple subscription settings before the renewal window. We do not control Apple’s billing policies or refund decisions.

5. No Professional Advice

ResellerBooks is a record-keeping and organization tool only. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. You are responsible for confirming the accuracy of any records, calculations, exports, or estimates before relying on them for taxes or business decisions.

6. Mileage, OCR, And Third-Party Data

Mileage estimates, OCR extraction, and imported marketplace data are convenience features. They can be incomplete, approximate, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing entries against receipts, odometer readings, platform statements, and your own records.

7. External Links

The Toolkit section and other app surfaces may open third-party websites or services. Those destinations are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for third-party content, pricing, availability, delivery, security, or policies.

8. Availability And Changes

We may change app features, ad surfaces, subscription offerings, Toolkit links, or sync behavior over time. Features may vary by device, region, Apple account, or app release. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated version of the app and any updated Terms posted here.

9. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mazza Financial Systems LLC is not liable for losses, penalties, missed filings, data corruption, service outages, or problems arising from the use of the app, third-party services, ads, or toolkit links.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
